Election Day.

Two nights ago the election in Denmark happened and boy was it big! Some people told me that it's the biggest election yet. I did a project in my societies class and was really involved and eager to learn more about how Denmark came to be as great as it is. The night of the election the school held a get together to watch the results and how could i say no? I went with a few of the girls which i didnt know so well and it was a nice, relaxed setting to get to know them. I got to the school and there were so many people. The two sides are rød (red) and blå (blue) so some kids were dressed in red and some were dressed in blue. My class was debating back and forth and they were really in to it. Good for them for wanting to be so involved but my personal feeling is that if you cant do anything to change the election by voting then why get so worked up and mad about it? Get really involved when you can vote :] That is the exact reason I dont follow politics. Besides sitting with my class and getting to know them a little bit better something I will never get used to was going on. THEY SERVE BEER AT SCHOOL FUNCTIONS! All the kids here are to responsible to get crazy drunk at school functions but still I couldnt believe it!. Teachers were walking around and talking to us while a bunch of kids had beers in their hand. It was quite a sight to see. I told my friend Ida that I would never get used to it and she looked at me laughed and said "If there was no beer, no one would come." I love Denmark<3
